National Highway -4

The constant traveling from Bangalore -Chennai - Bangalore has made me see some interesting differences between the people of the two regions. Though the two cities are located very close geographically ,the number of fundamental differences that exist seem to be huge. One common lifeline to the two cities is the river Cauvery . If you remember a few years back the water tables levels in Chennai were so low that the entire state implemented rain water harvesting systems by making them compulsory whilst Bangalore was merily wasting what it had.

In Bangalore
In Chennai

Oh yes the autos too seem to be designed differently for the 2 cities .

Bangalore

Chennai

There is also a difference in the way idly and vada are commonly sold at Darshini-s.Whilst Bangaloreans stand it out in self service counters their counterparts more often than prefer the luxury of sitting.
-->Bangalore          Chennai<----

On a serious note i have a very good reason why Chennai has been safer than Bangalore on the terror radar. .It is may be because the people in Chennai do not accept outsiders that easily to intermingle thus making the terror aspirants spend more time trying to get aclimatised. Learning the local lingo is very essential to be able to survive in Chennai whilst in Bangalore most times it would'nt even matter if you dint know what the local language is!!!!!!!!

It makes me wonder what if the two cities actually learned from each other.

Would'nt the Two neighbours benifit ?

Racist who ????

People with mongolian features are generally referred to as 'CHINKI' , has anyone ever wondered if that was racist in nature.
An irony is that people with fair skin like it when they are referred to as whites . Ever wondered y some people love to be referred by their features and others dont ?
Where is the world heading ? Globalization or localization?
It often spoken about the world becoming flat , but is that really where its heading . Whilst globalisation is on the rise ,so is localisation . some situations like the mumbaikars desiring the city for themselves or the Australians attacking Indians every other day .

Its inevitable that these two phenomenons clash !!!!!!!!
Where are v heading ?

What would you pick??

I have been wondering for a long time as to what is the force driving decisions that individuals make ?
Consider the situation where you're about to make the biggest choice of your life i.e choosing your career . Some of the most interesting factors that i have seen people considering while making the choice were
  •  Spouse / girlfriend / boyfriend : ----You have just finished graduation. You are totally in love with a girl who says marry me now or forget it .But you internally know for a fact that you are screwed if you do that right now.
  • horoscope -----if it says your gonna be a businessman and make a lot of money in being one. Will you have the guts to pick an exactly opposite option and try to make a career as an engineer for a company. In another case his horoscope clearly said he's going to go abroad for his education ( am assuming the horoscope meant higher edu) ,get a job there , get rich and marry a VIDESHI but to do that he had to turn down a job offer which he had from the company which he dreamt of working for.

Is it about the cycles or the circles??

Alright ....I have this theory that says that everything are always either a part of a cycle or a circle!

To support this theory consider a bi-cycle-it is firstly called a cycle but it actually runs on circles .Now the confusing begins when i try to classify it as a circle or a cycle. People who ride a bi-cycle go-into cycles of pedalling and stopping , so where does this fit ? the ambiguity in the answer seems to support my theory of cycles and circles.

Now think about it the Earth goes around in an almost circular path and does this over and over again which makes it a continuous cycle ,here the earth by itself is a circle.

My theory fits in may be even in our daily lives. Sleeping, eating , working ( possibly !!) and then going back to sleeping which is a process which may be is governed by clocks for the most part . Note the clock's hands go around in circles.

Thinking about it i could go on............
